LEXICON
Passe-partout : a cardboard border that protects and enhances the photo. Does not replace a frame, but can be slipped into one.
Dibond : the photo is lamineted on a 3mm-thick aluminum plate.
Shadow box : a thick frame that encases the photo and lets it breathe.
